Classes and Workshops
Art Classes are designed for students ages 9 through adult, beginner through advanced. Using a step by step process, students learn the fundamentals of drawing, painting, design/composition, perspective, working with color and more. Students also learn how to add depth, contrast, dimension and power to their work.
Lessons are both fun and informative. They are tailored to meet the needs of the individual student according to their level of knowledge and experience.
Younger students and beginners are encouraged to try their hand at several mediums such as drawing, painting, pen & ink, pastels, water colors, scratch board and mixed media.
Subject matter is based on each students area of interest including, but not limited to landscape, wildlife, still life, abstract, portraits and floral. Each year students are given the unique opportunity to showcase their work in an Emerging Artists showcase held at the location where they attend classes. These annual shows are open to the public and receive quite a bit of publicity.
